Internal Tools Design System
This system was created to be used for different tools, in different platforms and mediums. The plan was to have an accessible system that would help developers create tools fast, without help from the design team. But, it was essential to ensure these creations would be under the same branding umbrella, following the same core principles.

The Design Challenge:
Create an easy-to-work-with system as a single source of truth, that would easily provide interfaces that look different but at the same time, feel consistent.
A library was created both for designers and developers to use, serving as a single source of truth for design tokens for colours, fonts etc., guidelines, do's & dont's, assets like icons and logos and much more.

My contribution to the product:
- Conducted in-depth research into existing design systems to identify gaps and best patterns.
- Mapped the current internal tools to document guidelines, recurring interface issues and future needs.
- Built design tokens and reusable components (buttons, forms, layouts) using atomic design principles.
- Established a single point of truth using InVision DSM (Design System Manager) so both designers and developers can pull from the same source.
- Tested parts of the system by spinning up a new tool to validate components, refine friction points and improve developer handoff.
