Motor Claims Mobile App

Full design process of a motor insurance claims application — from discovery workshops to wireframes, wireflows, iterative UI and a reusable system of components, that transforms a complex physical process into a faster, user-centered digital experience.

The Design Challenge:
Filing a claim is often one of the most frustrating parts of owning insurance: confusing forms, unclear requirements and long wait times. The provider needed an app that would make claims filling intuitive, transparent and fast, while also integrating seamlessly with back-office systems.

After this project, filing a simple claim went from 30+ minutes of paperwork and phone calls to a guided 10-minute mobile flow.

My contribution to the product:
  • Discovery workshops
Facilitated sessions with business stakeholders, the claims department, and tech teams to uncover pain points, guidelines and limitations.
  • Wireframes & wireflows
Mapped the entire claims journey — accident scene capture (photos, location, notes) to document uploads, repair shop selection. Created wireflows to ensure smooth navigation between complex steps.
  • Iteration & validation
Prototyped early versions and ran usability sessions. Iterated to remove friction: simplified forms, added progress indicators, built in contextual help.
  • Design system
Developed a design system with reusable components (form fields, buttons, card layouts, status indicators) for visual consistency, faster development and scalability for future products.
